James the Chocolate Labrador and I during the fashion show~

The Basset Hound I was suppose to be partnered with couldn’t come, so I was partnered with a Dachshund puppy named Elizabeth. But at the last minute, our designer asked me if I could be the one to handle James instead because my co-model Jewel couldn’t handle him well. (He can really drag you.) I have always handled Negra, (which is also a Labrador slightly smaller but older than James, also my dog partner) so they said that I can carry James well.

I admit, James was pretty tough to work with at first (he kept dragging me and I was wearing 5 inch heels, plus, it kept raining and the place was slippery), but in the end he became one of the most loved dogs in the show lol. I think he’s going to be my model replacement for Negra, because Negra has retired ;___; It’s not the same though.
